Currently, Toronto recruits volunteers for something most of us would pay to do: cuddling with small animals. Wow, sounds like the best job ever.
Toronto Animal Services is searching for people to snuggle with their cats and bunnies. A rewarding experience, they cuddle with the animals to promote their physical and mental well-being. While it’s more prominent now, the cuddling job existed for a while, and it seems to be rewarding for both parties.
Unfortunately, the service appears solely volunteer with no pay. In need of help, almost all animal shelters in Toronto offer positions.
Fortunately, you make your own schedule. However, they need somebody who can be consistent in some positions. To volunteer, you must attend an orientation and review their manual.
