Kristin Leigh Rhynehart lives in Raleigh, New Jersey with her family and a rescue dog named Raven. Kristin adopted Raven 10 years ago. Since adding him to her family, Raven has proven time and time again how special he is.
One day, Kristin couldn’t find Raven. She looked at all his favorite places to be, but still no Raven. Then she walked in on where her daughter Addison was napping, and it was then that she saw a precious sight.
As Kristin peeked into the room where Addison was sleeping in the crib, she saw Raven sleeping beside her. He wasn’t just laying down next to her, but he was under the covers as well. It was a beautiful sight to behold.
Kristen caught the priceless moment on video and later shared it on Facebook and YouTube. The footage quickly went viral, and for good reason.

Along with the video, Kristin posted this message, “People that say ‘money can’t buy happiness’ have never paid an adoption fee,” Kristin wrote on YouTube. “10 years ago I left a rescue with this little guy and I often wonder…who rescued who? I gave him a home, but he gave me so, so much more.”
Thankfully for Raven, he was adopted into a loving home. And it sounds like Kristin’s family was also on the benefitting end, big time. A loyal and loving dog is worth more than gold.

Dogs that aren’t adopted are often euthanized to make room for more homeless pets that are surrendered.
