British Twitter users tuned into the BBC documentary called Big Cats and were shocked when they learned that their little cats were absolutely transfixed by what they saw on the screen. Users took to social media to share footage of their very own “little cats” while they watched their much-larger cousins on television.
Teeny Cats Love Big Cats
Some tiny cats were extremely rude (let’s face it, most cats are) and sat right in front of their parent’s screen for the best possible view of the large kitties.

These cats don’t seem to care one bit that they are directly in the way of the television. Nor do they care that, at least for now, there doesn’t appear to be any big cats on the screen. They are still transfixed.
These little guys all across Britain were stuck on the screen like the BBC was surely hoping everyone would be.
BBC One’s series will have plenty more episodes of these little guys to watch too. The BBC says the “Documentary series uncovering the secret lives of big cats, using the latest technology and scientific research to bring these animal superstars out of the shadows,” airs weekly.
