It turns out that humans aren’t the only ones that think Disneyland is a magical place. One service dog trainee visited Disney with his handler for extra work in public. He wasn’t supposed to find the love of his life. However, the moment this adorable dog met Cinderella — all bets were off.
SERVICE DOG TRAINEE
The service dog trainee’s name is Elijah. Elijah is a Golden Retriever mix in training with Canine Companions for Independence.
They brought Elijah to Disneyland to help him be more confident and relaxed around people.
Elijah quickly achieved that goal then took it to a whole other level.
DISNEY
Ashley Witt, Elijah’s handler, took him to the park and spent the day introducing him to many of the famous characters there.
Elijah was such a good boy during every meeting. He was already having the time of his life.
Then, however, it was time to meet Cinderella.
CINDERELLA
We know Elijah was already doing a great job meeting all the characters. However, you can see in the video we posted below, he acted very differently when he met Cinderella.
This time, instead of a standard greeting — Elijah simply laid down directly in Cinderella’s lap.
Just before Elijah greeted Cinderella, you can hear her say, “I heard you’re cuddly, is this true?”
CUDDLY
Well, Cinderella quickly found out that not only is Elijah incredibly cuddly — he’s also head over heels in love with her.
We are so glad that Elijah’s handler captured the whole beautiful moment on video.
Honestly, have you ever seen anything cuter than this? Elijah on Cinderella’s lap, wearing his Mickey Mouse ears and his “first-timer,” badge is almost more than we can handle.
Cinderella even wanted to spend the whole day with the sweet service dog trainee. How cool is that?
