Unfortunate things happen in life that you might not want to happen. Everyone knows this I’m sure. But how you handle that bad stuff can make all the difference. Tina Hoang has decided to have fun when her 4-month-old cat named Masuka destroys things.
When Tina moved into her apartment, Masuka was wondering around outside. Tina knew that she would adopt the cute little kitty right into her family without hesitation. But it didn’t take long for her to see that Masuka was much different from her other cats.
From early on, he was already showing his unique personality. Now at age 7, he is especially obsessed with water. “He loves running water,” Hoang said. “Every time I’m in the shower, as soon as he hears the water running, he comes running in.”
Showers are especially an attractant for Musuka. He could just poke his head in the shower when the water is on. But instead, he tears the curtain open with his claws. This technique makes him a head hole perfectly sized for him to peak in.
One day Hoang had an idea as a way to have fun with her destroyed curtains. Instead of being upset about having to buy a new curtain every few months she got creative.
First Hoang drew a picture of a shark around the head hole.
Then a dinosaur.
“Every time I see him in the shower he just cracks me up,” Hoang said. “I figured I might as well have some fun with it. Can’t get mad at that face!”
Recently Hoang bought a different type of shower curtain that might give Musuka thinking twice about putting his head through it. But time will tell. As for Hoang and all the effort and money that she has put into shower curtains, she wouldn’t change a thing about Musuka. She loves him just the way he is. His sense of humor just makes life that much more fun.
