It didn’t take much for Londoners to find the humor in two seagulls perched on a traffic camera. In fact, the seagulls have become famous. Let’s take a look into how two seagulls have become famous.
Transport for London has a Twitter account also known as TfL. The purpose of the Twitter account is to inform Londoners about traffic conditions on the roads. Whenever there are traffic issues, the Twitter account informs Londoners about the problems on the road. All was working as normal on the Twitter account and it was serving its purpose. That is until two seagull faces showed up on the live traffic cam.
The pair of seagulls have now become an internet sensation. It would be one thing if they showed up just once or twice on the live cam but the birds keep making guest appearances again and again. In fact, they’ve appeared so much that they have become regulars almost as if they are news reporters.
I don’t know about you, but these birds may just be the cutest news reporters that I’ve ever seen. No wonder they have become famous.
People have used this opportunity to have some fun with the bird duo. In fact, a Twitter account has been set up just for them. As you might have imagined, people have had fun chiming in with fun comments on the Twitter account. Traffic for London even tweeted. They said,
“Our cameras usually give us a bird’s eye view of traffic across London, but we’d like to thank our new colleagues Graeme and Steve for helping out at beak times.”
And of course, people used the birds as a platform to get their opinions across.
And then there is always a comedian.
