What you are about to read may just be one of the cutest mustaches out there. Let’s take a look at the mustache cat that Gringo, a one-year-old British Shorthair cat was naturally born with.
Gringo lives in France with his cat brother Milko and human parents Sabrine and Romain. It is Gringo’s mustache that has made him an internet sensation. He had 60,000 followers on Instagram until the account was hacked. Now he is on a new account with 12,000 followers and growing.
Gringo is more than just a cute cat with a mustache. He has a winning personality to match.
Gringo also has quite a silly personality.
Sabrine and Romain already had their cat Milko before bringing in Gringo to the family. They knew that they wanted to add a second cat to their family. When they saw a photo of Gringo on a popular French cattery site, they just knew that Gringo was the right one for them. It was love at first sight. Gringo joined the family when he was just 3 months old. He and Milko became instant friends.

“Gringo is a happy kitty, full of life and with a really nice personality. He loves to play all day and all night, get up to mischief like climbing on curtains, scratching the couch and jumping in the plants.” Sabrine said.
“Gringo likes to stand on his back paw, just like a meerkat. He can stay a couple of minutes in that position, and it’s hilarious. Gringo always sniffs our plates to see if there’s something good for him to eat, and he likes to steal our sponge from the kitchen just to chew it, so we have to hide it every time,” Sabrine explained.
Even though Gringo has a great personality, it is his mustache that has made him famous.
