Bird messes with cat by playing a game of peek-a-boo

Usually, cats and birds are known to have an interesting relationship, to say the least. Between the swiftness of cats and a  birds ability to fly, the two seem to go back and forth without a win. When George, a cat from New Zealand was exploring the neighborhood, he came across a bird. But this was not any old bird. Oscar, an Indian ringneck parakeet, is quite smart. Together, the two are quite funny to watch.

Although birds are known to have tiny brains, Oscar is very intelligent. After years of playing peekaboo with his family, he decided to incorporate George into his little game. Of course, Oscar stayed inside during the game with the separation of glass between him and George.

So Oscar begins his little game. While George looks through the window, Oscar ducks. And then pops up and says, “PEEKABOO!” The poor cat watches as Oscar taunts him. The event unfolds and it is absolutely hysterical. But Oscar’s owner knew she had to get the game on video. So she grabbed her phone and began to record Oscars little game. Oscar’s owner comments,

“Oscar is as shocked & confused as we are that his video has gone absolutely crazy! We woke up to sooo many emails & messages regarding him playing peekaboo with George the Cat… We are so glad that our little green monkey makes you all so happy.”

But clearly, this is not the first time we have seen something like this happen. In the Looney Tunes show, Tweety Bird made sure to taunt Sylvester the cat as much as he could. History is repeating itself!
